CHILDREN IN SOUTH EAST CAN WIN A SLEEPOVER AT SPECIAL VENUES!

Former Spice Girl and UNICEF UK Supporter Emma Bunton has launched a nationwide competition for children taking part in the Giant Sleepover, one of the world’s largest sleepovers. They can win the chance to have their sleepover at special venues up and down the country*.

On Saturday 22nd June thousands of children around the world are taking part in the Giant Sleepover to raise money for UNICEF, the world’s leading children’s organisation, along with plenty of late night giggling, bedtime stories and secret games.

To win the ultimate sleepover at one of the special venues, children must enter a story or drawing of their dream sleepover. Emma Bunton will be joining the judging panel to help pick the lucky winners.

UNCEF UK supporter Emma Bunton says; “I am honoured to be a part of UNICEF UK and this competition for the Giant Sleepover! When kids get together, watch films and have midnight feasts, it’s a great memory of our childhood.

"I'll be looking for those who have written or drawn a truly creative story or picture and someone who has really used their imagination. What could be easier? And it's all for a great cause!!"

Children taking part in UNICEF UK’s Giant Sleepover will be raising money to fund UNICEF’s life saving work around the world. Every 15 seconds, a child somewhere in the world dies because of hunger. Money raised will help some of the most vulnerable children.

David Bull, UNICEF UK Executive Director says; “The Giant Sleepover is a fantastic way for children to have some fun and raise money for UNICEF UK to help vulnerable children around the world. I hope that lots of people sign up for the sleepover and take part in the competition. Together we can help save and transform children’s lives.”

If you’re group hasn’t signed up yet, then now is your chance. Go to www.giantsleepover.com. Group registration starts at £25 and after that it costs £2 per child. All participants will receive a Giant Sleepover ‘Goodie Bag’ including toys, games and fun things to do on the night.
