WEAR JEANS, CHANGE LIVES ON FRIDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2012

This year’s Jeans for Genes Day takes place on Friday 5^th October.

A beautifully simple idea, the Day invites people to leave their suits and uniforms at home and wear their jeans to work or school in return for a donation. 

Jeans for Genes Day provides vital funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. In 2012, 23 charities will benefit from the funds raised on Jeans for Genes Day.

Celebrity supporters this year include Amanda Holden, Katie Price, Coleen Rooney, Michelle Keegan, Lauren Pope, Jessica and Carol Wright, Caggie Dunlop and Jade Thompson.

Snugglebundl win another award!

Sussex based dadpreneurs David Solomons and Mike Edwards and their baby product company Snugglebundl have just received a gold award for the”Best Innovative Gift” in the prestigious Loved By Parents 2012 baby product awards. The baby product review website is renowned amongst the baby industry for testing and rewarding products that are genuinely loved by parents, the awards highlight the very best products that are available for today’s parents.

Each submission is tried and tested by a panel of parents. The best are shortlisted and then open to the public, who can vote for their favourite products and brands. Mike said “This award means a lot to us because it is chosen by parents.

Snugglebundl launched in November 2011 after winning the Barclays Bank Take One small Step competition for new business with their amazing new concept in baby blankets called the Snugglebundl- The world’s first baby lifting blanket.  A unique design which allows parents to lift, lay down and move their babies whilst they keep good posture and without waking the baby. A simple idea that is really taking off and looks set to become one of those must have products for new parents.

SHREK THE MUSICAL CELEBRATES ITS FIRST ANNIVERSARY AT LONDON’S THEATRE ROYAL, DRURY LANE

FREE FAMILY FETE AT THEATRE ROYAL, DRURY LANE ON MAY 6, 2012
Award winning SHREK THE MUSICAL® will celebrate its first year in the West End on May 6, 2012. 
Produced by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, SHREK THE MUSICAL® has staged more than 400 performances and been seen  by more than 600,000 people at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane since its first preview performance on May 6, 2011.
To mark the first anniversary, SHREK THE MUSICAL® will open its doors to the public for a FREE, ogre-sized, family fete at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on May 6, 2012.  There will be party games, competitions, sweet treats, storytelling, theatre tours and opportunities to meet the cast from 11am to 2pm.
